Lava Hot Springs

It's been to long since I have been to Lava Hot Springs. I have a lot of memories from when I was younger. My girls were in heaven and can't wait to go back.

Justin went off the top platform several times.

Hayley had some fun with Grandpa Doug.

The guys had fun playing basketball.

Me and Grandma Rochelle and all the littles had fun shooting water at each other with the noodles.

Kami went off the first platform.

We had it made in the shade.

WE WILL WE WILL ROCK YOU...

I had some tired kids. We barely made it out of the parking lot before these two fell asleep. Not to worry it was just a cat nap. They were awake and ready to go again before we made it home.

Kami's Hunger Games Party

We took all the decorations I made for Abby's party and used them for my cute niece Kami.
We drew tributes for each district.

Went through some training.

I roped Steve into helping with the knot tying.

Spear throwing.

Then the tributes had to retrieve a bag with their number on it and get back to a safe spot before getting hit with a dodge ball. The grown ups and anyone who was not a tribute helped with this.

A winner was declared.

The guests.

The cute birthday girl who doesn't like her picture taken.

The girls finished their necklaces and then played some night games.

June 9 - June 13

Tuesday we went to the Summer Movies

Wednesday Hayley cut her hair while I was at a camp meeting.

Thursday Emily babysat while I ran around doing grocery shopping, stuff for camp and father's day.

Fishing Trip

We went to Scofield with Grandpa Brent and  Grandma Karlene.
Grandpa took care of all of the cooking.

Happy kids.

Lindley helping reel one in for Grandpa.

Abby didn't fish for long.

Lindley made some potions.

Steve caught a couple of keepers.

.

I listened to Steve and didn't let the girls bring their swimsuits.
The water was not "too cold" for my little fishies,
They went swimming redneck style.

Steve caught 20 crawdads and a couple of fish in the trap.

Beautiful Day.

May 18-29

Abby went on a field trip to the BEE's game on her birthday.
She caught the bee and bought the bat with some of her birthday money.

Abby's team played the team that has always been considered the best.
Steve told the girls at practice that their team was the best team.
Sure enough the Sunbirds won.
I don't know who was more excited the girls or the coach.

Emily had a Pops Concert.

Lindley graduated from Preschool.
She sang all the songs but was "too shy" to do the actions.

Play date with Isom girls.
Lindley loves to "read" stories.
She can sound out some words but mainly just tells the stories from memory.

Justin

On Mother's Day I took some pictures of my Justin.
He has really set the standard high.
He is one amazing young man.
He has been CALLED TO SERVE in Japan.

May 1 - 7

Hayley loved her wavy hair.

Things you will hear 4 million times a day at my house.
Scoot away from the TV please.

No wonder they wake me up in the middle of the night.

The crane over by the horses.
