Sleepover day 2

Emily and Kami made us waffles this morning.

After Stockton came over we loaded everyone up and walked to the school playground.

All the kids had a great time.
They didn't love the walk though.
Most of us were wearing flip flops.
Duh. My feet are sore.

We enjoyed some Popsicles.

Ate some lunch.
Then filled up the pools to keep cool.

Most of the day has been spent making very elaborate Lego houses.
Love how a swimming pool is always the first thing they build.

Living rooms with TV and sofa.
Kitchen with sink, cupboards, oven, refrigerator and table and chairs.
Bathroom with shower, shampoo and conditioner and vanity.
Cute little lamps on the nightstands.

They've added more since I took the pictures.

Sleepover (first night)

After spending the day at Lagoon A Beach everyone was pretty hungry.
I made Basilisk Pizza and Butterbeer (Cream Soda).

As soon as we were home they broke out the LEGOs and went to town.
They built a swimming pool, helicopter and house.

We set up some cots on the deck to sleep out.
Gage took the "bottom bunk"

.

The babies wanted to join in the fun so we set up in the living room.

We watched Harry Potter while munching on Chocolate, Every Flavor Beans
and practiced spells with our glow stick wands.

Olympic Fun

I was inspired to do something fun with the kids while watching Studio 5.
We had BISCUITS and JAM for dinner.
(Biscuits and Gravy for Steve)

I printed out some Olympic coloring pages.

Grabbed some pipe cleaners.

Made a torch from toilet paper roll, paper plate, tissue paper and duct tape
(as seen on Studio 5)

The girls had fun coloring, making Olympic Rings and posing for pictures with the torch.

Steve watched TV in the other room but just happened to be in the room when I took this picture.
"Did you just take a picture of the TV?"
Sure did!

Emily was the only one who stuck it out with me.
She was dying when we got to the S's .
She left the room when Paul was singing, she thought he was creepy.

Happy 24th!

I really enjoyed the parade this year.
For once we weren't frying our brains out.
The rain was refreshing.

Most of the group stayed dry anyways.

Hayley was all about the gathering of the candy.
The older kids didn't want to move I guess.

Joey and Lindley.

After the parade we went to our favorite spot to eat.
We were quite the group.

Then Emily and Abby stayed at the Christensen's for a sleep over.
They built a basketball court for their American Girl Dolls.
Give these girls a box, markers and tape and they can make anything.
The basketball hoop even had a net.

Minnie and Mickey Birthday Party

Cake and Decorations are the things I have the most fun with.
I can't remember when or where I saw these cupcakes so I had to give them a try.

I've had this CTMH stamp forever and couldn't wait to put it to use.
Lindley even helped put the banner together.

Here is the set up and the Birthday Girl.

I made the Birthday Boy's shirt with a crayon drawing on sand paper then ironed on.

Mickey and Minnie.

Here is our little ball pit.
It was a bigger hit than I thought it would be.

Time for PRESENTS.
One spoiled little girl.

Steve was our human pinata.
The kids really had fun hitting the pinata.

Lindley's Minnie Cake.

Steve and his German Chocolate Cake.

Everyone helped clean up before the storm came in.
Then it was a race to play with Barbie, Legos,
Minnie Mouse and some coloring before bed.

Happy Birthday Steve!

Steve took the day off to spend the day with us at Lagoon.
The girls were very excited to take Dad on some rides.
Steve started with one of his favorites Jet Star 2.

Hayley rode BULGY THE WHALE while Lindley dragged Dad on The Jumping Dragon.

I had to sit by myself on the train because both girls wanted to sit by Dad.

Everyone enjoyed Ice Cream at Pioneer Village.

The girls talked Dad into going on the Log Flume.

After Emily and Abby made Dad sick by taking him on a wild cocktail of rides
He still had to strength to win us all some prizes. Highest score of the night 133.

Lindley talked Dad into one more ride on the umbrellas.
He may or may not have puked 3 times after.
Happy Birthday Steve!
We loved spending the day with Dad!

Tradition! Tradition! Tradition!

Last night was the FIREWORKS @ Weber State.
The weather was perfect.
Everybody had a good time hanging out!
Lindley and Maylen were making some salad.

Hayley couldn't wait to say hi to Parker, Parker.

Kami, Abby and Tanner had fun playing some soccer.

I broke out the GLOW STICKS early so I could see what I was doing.
Here are all the cousins that were here.

Steve loves coming to the FIREWORKS. Haha!
He was a good sport up until the driving home part.
It took an hour and 20 minutes.
He will come next year but he is leaving before the fireworks.

Lindley had a ball taking the picture of Steve and I.
So she had to take another one of Me and Auntie.
