Pinewood Derby

Hayley was excited to race THE RUNNIN UTE at the Pinewood Derby.
She loves her "GO UTES!".

Steve helped Abby build THE CHEESE this week.
Gage brought THUNDER to race against Steve.
THUNDER was the fastest car Steve had ever helped build.

Steve built himself two new cars this year. THIN MINT and TITLEST.
TITLEST won 1st Place in the Stock Division.

THE CHEESE took 2nd Place in the Stock Division.

CATCH ME IF YOU CAN (the mouse trap car) took 2nd in the Modified Division.
Here are all the cars we raced in the Pinewood Derby tonight.
TOOTHLESS, CATCH ME IF YOU CAN, TITLEST, THUNDER, THE RUNNIN UTE, THE CHEESE and THIN MINT.

March 15 - March 19

Friday I made a St. Patrick's Day lunch for Steve and the girls. Me and the littles took ours to the park for a picnic. It was a beautiful day.

We spent alot of time outside soaking up the sun. Emily can hula hoop forever.

Abby was excited to be able to turn the corner on her skateboard.

Hayley liked Abby's skateboard too. I forgot about sunscreen and Hayley got sunburned for the first time.

Saturday we had a surprise party for Steve's dad.

Grandpa was blindfolded on the way to the church. He thought he was going to a restaurant.

I brought photo props. The kids thought they were pretty fun.

Dustin won the roll a leprechaun game.

Grandpa got to dance with all his girls.

Lindley helped Grandpa blow out his unlit candles.

Sunday morning we had our traditional green waffles.

I made some key lime cookies from a mix.

Abby had some shamrock hair for church.

The highlight of the day was when our home teachers came over. When they asked if there was anything they could do for us we asked them to select some props for a picture.  Emily was so embarrassed but it made me giggle.  What good sports.

For dinner we had Twist Up, Cream of Broccoli soup, green rolls and Rainbow Jello.

Here's our Leprechauns when we played roll a leprechaun for FHE.

March 9 - March 15

This girl is a fish. She would stay in the tubby all day if I let her.

Rainbow Dance Ribbons. The girls love them.

Banners for St. Patricks (Amanda's Parties To Go) and Easter.

Bubbles. Can't convince Lindley she doesn't need her big coat anymore.

Lindley came home from preschool with this picture of what I look like when she doesn't clean up her room. Very accurate.

Took the girls to Arctic Circle to get their "cute" Easter Friends.

They had too much fun playing at the playground.

Took Emily to see LHS play Curtains. Bought tickets when we walked in and sat in the front row center stage.

Lindley ready for preschool with her colorful hair.

Cute rainbow barrettes I saw on Pink and Green Mama.

This is what my yard looks like all the time now. It drives Steve crazy. I'm just happy the kids get to play outside.

Getting ready for Grandpa Wayne's Birthday Party.
Lucky Us printable from Landee see Landee do.

Photo props.
Mustaches from Love The Day Printables.

Sent the girls and Steve Green lunches to school and work and getting ready to take the littles to the park for a green picnic.

March 2 - March 5

Saturday was a beautiful day. The girls were outside riding bikes when Steve brought Scout over to saddle up and go for a ride. Of course his little cowgirls wanted a turn. Scout was kind of hopping in the snow so Steve started walking him down the sidewalk. A neighbor stopped to talk to Steve, Scout started moving and Lindley fell off. Luckily Steve caught her by her coat or it would have been very bad.

Steve told Lindley not to be mad at Scout it was his fault for not paying attention. Lindley went out to tell Scout she wasn't mad at him but didn't want to get back on.

Lindley is one tough lil cowgirl.

Hayley was grinning ear to ear when she got a ride.

Emily had a choir concert.
Note to self leave Abby and the littles home next time.

Out late partying at Kaylie's birthday party. These two always fall asleep like this in the back of the van.

We also went to Gramsies' birthday party on Friday and Lindley had Kindergarten Roundup today. Lindley wanted to know if all the kindergartners got in a circle for the roundup.
